Dr. Joey Bryant

Dr. Joey Bryant is the owner of Plum Creek Veterinary Hospital. She attended Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science in 1996. Following, she married the love of her life, John Bryant, and began her career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician at Brodie Animal Hospital in south Austin. She then attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated magna cum laude with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She practiced from 2004-2005 at Texas Star Animal Hospital in Giddings, TX, and then she returned as a doctor to Brodie Animal Hospital from 2005-2010. She gives credit to Dr. Michael Werner, owner of Brodie Animal Hospital, for being a superb mentor and friend. Without him, her career would not be where it is today.

Dr. Bryant’s professional interests include small animal dentistry, endocrine diseases (diabetes mellitus, adrenal disorders, etc), oncology and soft tissue surgery.  When she is away from the hospital, Dr. Bryant, a native Texan, enjoys spending time with her family – her husband of 14 years, John Bryant; her 3 children, Faith (8), Cole (5) and James (3); and her 2 beagles, Nutmeg (9) and Copper (1). She also enjoys her monthly neighborhood book club, cooking, wine tasting, home decorating and playing games. If she ever has time again, she dreams of snow skiing like she and her husband used to before children!
